Independent Resources for Self-Regulation
For the third part of your mental wellness lessons, introduce the children to the Instruction Cards for self-regulation.
These are created as a reminder of the video practise that should be printed out, folded in half, laminated and kept in an accessible space for your pupils. When they are want to return to calm and may be feeling anxious, upset or angry, they can access these cards, choose their favourite technique and practise it to self-regulate their emotions.
